Do You Repair Awnings You Didn’t Install?

Yes. A large share of our repair calls are for awnings originally installed by another company, or units that came with the house. If it's a retractable, stationary, or motorized awning, we can typically diagnose and repair it — we're not limited to the brands we sell.

We stock replacement fabric from Sunbrella, Dickson, Sattler, and Para Tempotest, and our fabrication shop can cut and sew a new cover to fit most existing frames. For motorized units, we work with Somfy-compatible systems and most common awning motor brands found on South Jersey homes and businesses.

Pricing

Awning Repair Pricing in South Jersey

Pricing depends on the type of repair needed. As a general guide for the South Jersey market:

Diagnostic / Service Call

$95–$150

Waived or credited toward the repair cost if you move forward with the work.

Fabric Replacement

$600–$2,200

New fabric cut and sewn to fit your existing frame, depending on awning size.

Motor and mechanism repair typically runs $250–$900 depending on the issue. These are general planning ranges, not a quote — a free on-site diagnosis gives you a firm, written price.

How It Works

How Repair Service Works

01

Call or Request Service

Reach out by phone or the contact form and describe what's wrong — won't retract, torn fabric, storm damage, etc.

02

On-Site Diagnosis

We inspect the awning in person to identify the actual problem, not just the symptom.

03

Repair or Replacement Quote

You get a firm, written price before any work begins — including whether repair or replacement makes more sense.

04

Same-Trip or Scheduled Repair

Simple repairs are often completed the same visit; fabric or parts orders are scheduled once materials arrive.

Know the Signs

Signs You Need Awning Repair

Won't Retract Fully

Fabric sags, bunches, or the awning stalls partway — usually a mechanism, tension, or motor issue.

Motor Noise or Failure

Grinding, stalling, or a motorized awning that no longer responds to the remote or app.

Visible Damage

Torn or mildewed fabric, a bent frame after a storm, or an awning that won't stay extended in light wind.

Prevent the Next Repair Call

Consider a Seasonal Service Plan

Most repair calls we get could have been caught earlier with a routine seasonal inspection — loose hardware, early fabric wear, or a motor starting to strain. If your awning is due for repair, ask about moving to a recurring seasonal service plan afterward, so small issues get caught before they become repair calls.
